What is the relationship between Serian’s hot water and elephants?

Can anyone guess the connection between our hot water and elephants?

 No?

Well let me tell you the connection: we have numerous elephants in and around camp that need roughly 350kg of food a day per elephant. As a result they tend to knock down quite a lot of trees, but only end up eating one or two fruits or branches off it. Now we have all this dead wood lying around.

Dilemma.

Those of you have been to Serian might know that we use wood burners to heat up each individual room so that you can have an abundance of hot water all day and night, therefore we go around and collect it for our hot water systems.

 Now you know the connection we can say thank you to the elephants for their kind service. J
