MIGRATION NEWS

I have just got some images from the last trip in Serengeti Maswa, i head down there myself for new year and will out for a walking trip soon after. The rains have fallen in both the mara and Serengeti and everywhere is covered in a blanket of green grass. The flowers poking their heads out slowly and soon to be a riot of colour I am sure.



The Wild Dog have been out in force feasting on the wildebeest and gorging themselves near the Mungu Mawe river. here are some of the pics we took...

A MODELLING SHOOT with RAPHAEL MAZZUCCO

Recently at Ngare Serian (a synonym for anything from one hour to one year ago in Kenya) Mark and John played host to Raphael Mazzucco, Rafa a former professional soccer player and a Canadian fashion, art and music photographer. His photographs have appeared on the cover of five consecutive Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues, including the 2006, 2008 and 2009 main cover images. He was commissioned to shoot Victoria's Secret's coffee table book and is well-known for his recent Guess Jeans campaigns. He was accompanied by gorgeous South African Models Candice Boucher (the Guess Jeans Girl) and Domonique Piek.

Several days of fun, challenging shooting, dramatic storm laden skies and munificent wildlife, John and Mark cajoled, wheedled and enticed the Lion and Elephant to play ball! Unwitting extras in a breathtaking photo shoot. We have some of the shots with more to come!

LION CUBS FOR SILVER

We have had a bit of rain over the past month and it is looking gorgeous and green what a chance to see some of those really tiny little cubs. Sara who heads up the Living wiht Lions team based out of Serian has been keeping a close eye on them and you can read more on her blog as listed below.



Over the past few days we’ve been lucky enough to have some snippet views of the new cubs. They’re tiny! When they’re born, lion cubs weigh less than 1% of their mother’s body weight. read more
